Loren Borud: Top International Plastic Surgeon
Top plastic surgeon Loren Borud has achieved international renown for his outstanding achievements to date, as a plastic surgeon per se, an industry consultant and a professional leadership practitioner.
Dr. Borud’s expertise is deeply rooted in his peerless educational background. He began his illustrious career in medicine in 1982, entering Stanford University to take up a dual major in Physics and Biology, and finishing Phi Betta Kappa in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science. After graduating in 1986, he proceeded to Harvard Medical School in Boston for his PhD, writing his MD thesis on HIV epitope mapping and finishing in 1990. After this, Loren Borud took up a five-year residency in general surgery at the UCLA; a two-year research stint at the Division of Plastic Surgery of the UCLA Medical Center; and three years of clinical training in hand and microsurgery and plastic surgery at New York University’s Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Borud is currently in pursuit of an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
