Dr. Loren Borud: Pioneering in Plastic Surgery

With the many years of medical experience and knowledge, Dr. Loren Borud is one of the most known and respected plastic surgeons both in the United States and around the world and continues to be a pioneer in the scientific and technological advancement of the medical field of plastic surgery.

Born and raised in Minot, North Dakota where he also finished his secondary education, Dr. Borud spent his undergraduate years in Stanford University, earning degrees in both Physics and Human Biology. He graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors before completing his residency in UCLA, with two additional years spent researching in the Division of Plastic Surgery. Most of his professional life included an eight-year seat as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Loren Borud has written over 30 publications revolving around plastic surgery and has spoken to many conferences and plastic surgery meetings around the world, earning him both national and international acclaim as one of the leading plastic surgeons to date.
